“How to Access Over 25 Years of If you want to know the latest functional strength coaching techniques now being used to develop the most successful athletes, from high school to professional, then keep reading…
From: Mike Boyle When you’re as passionate about training and coaching as I am (and you’ve been doing it as long as I have) you start to develop a sense of what works… And what doesn’t. You ride out the trends… You see through the fads… And you naturally move toward the training principles getting consistent results. Over the years I’ve made mistakes. (What good coach hasn’t?) And I’ve changed my mind. (Once or twice…) I’ll be the first to admit I’m not doing all the same things I was doing five years ago. (Or last year, for that matter.) But, in my experience, the same can be said for all the best coaches and trainers of every discipline. And over the course of over twenty five years in this industry, if I’ve learned anything, it’s this: If you come across a superior way of training your athletes or clients today then you were doing yesterday, you have an obligation to implement those changes. Immediately. It doesn’t mean your old way was ‘wrong’. It just means your new way is better. And, when you think about it, our entire function as coaches and trainers revolves around one single purpose: RESULTS. You don’t have to make a one hundred eighty degree change to your programming because you come across a better approach. (Though I have.) Even minor changes will lead to significant performance improvements. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with everyone from general fitness clients to athletes from every sport, age, gender and skill level. I travel to and speak at seminars on a consistent basis. It’s humbling to hear so many coaches and trainers, like you, ask me about my latest theories, ideas, programs and practices. Because my mission has been to provide those answers for all who are interested, I’m sharing the latest results of my research and testing...
Now, before I get into the details, I have to do something that makes me a little uncomfortable. In the age of the Internet, you simply don’t know what you’re getting, who you’re reading and whether or not they they’re qualified to teach the information they’re pushing. I understand you may not know exactly who Mike Boyle is and why you should listen to me, so I’m going to share a brief description of what I’ve done over the past 25 years and then you can decide for yourself whether you want to keep reading. But I’m confident you will…
Bringing a depth and breadth of knowledge that is unmatched in the industry, 10 years of experience at the professional level and over 25 years at the collegiate level, Mike’s work has been featured in the media on HBO RealSports, ESPN, CNNSI, as well as in Sports Illustrated and USA Today. In both 2004 and 2005, Men’s Journal named Boyle one of the top 100 trainers in the United States. Mike places great value on continuing education and encourages his staff to always keep learning. His former assistants, students, former players, and interns are sprinkled across the collegiate and professional ranks with teams like the Miami Dolphins, San Jose Sharks, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Anaheim Ducks, and Boston Celtics. Mike has address thousands of coaches and trainers all over the World including:
Hopefully you now have a better idea of where and how I developed the experience serving as the foundation of my latest training concepts and philosophies. Now, if you know me, you know I’m not a big ‘hype’ guy. So I’ll get right to the point: I’ve released my newest coaching resource:
Functional Strength Coach 3.0 It explores the evolution of my training over the past five years, concentrating on the differences in what I’m doing now, compared to the past. Functional Strength Coach 3.0 contains nothing but updated material, as opposed to retracing previously discussed concepts. In fact, I’ve developed a totally new thought process… Instead of being a group of muscles or movements, the body is actually a group of joints. So Functional Strength Coach 3.0 is, literally, a Joint-by-Joint Approach to Training and performance. The program explores the needs of the different joints of the body, looking first at stability versus mobility, and how those needs affect your program design and exercise selection from the warm up to strength training to the core, etc. For example, the appropriate approach to developing lumbar spine stability will be difficult for most people to get… Because it means you’ll need to stop doing some things you’ve probably been doing for a really long time. Following that line of thinking, I’d say 90% of low back issues are solved at the hip. Therefore, protecting the spine serves as the ultimate function of all hip work. So I’ll cover, in detail, how I’m addressing this crucial area – from mobility to strengthening and activation.
The same goes for my mobility circuits. I use a specific, multiple phase progression. And I cover it in detail.
For good reason, core training remains a hot topic with coaches and trainers of every discipline. And I’ve made some major changes to the way I develop this region of the body.
And you want to know what changes I’ve made in the weight room.
I recently went back to circuit training with my off season programs – but aimed more at mental strength development than a specific attempt to elicit strength gains.
Of course, this outline of Functional Strength Coach 3.0 barely scratches the surface of what I cover during the course of the entire seminar. Spread out over 6+ hours of exclusive, closed-door seminar on 8 DVDs plus the Functional Strength Coach Manual, Sample Training Programs and additional training articles (and the Workout Muse CD), you can imagine how much your head will be spinning with new ideas as you watch and take notes on each section.
While I’m not a big fan of marketing and hype, I’m also a realist. And because you’re still reading this, I bet you are too. This information took a great deal of time and experience to develop and create. It costs money to produce and manage. However, my reasons for coaching have never been financially motivated. And that’s why I’m offering Functional Strength Coach 3.0 to you at an extremely reasonable price. It’s your best opportunity to access my most current ideas and strategies for developing strength and performance improvements in your athletes and clients. The truth is, you can’t hire me for consulting or to train you, your team or your clients. Attending the live filming of Functional Strength Coach 3.0 would have cost you $350. …not including the costs of your flight, hotel, transportation, food, etc But when you order today, you’ll get all 6+ hours, 8 DVDs, a 101 page manual (Functional Strength Coach notes, Sample Programs and Additional Training Articles), and the Workout Muse CD for only
